From the first time I visited Arizona I completely fell in love with everything about the dessert. The neutral tones with a little pop of color here in there and that golden sunset make for the most gorgeous setting. Back in 2016 I met Brinde and Gus during a stylized shoot, here, I attended and fell completely in love with these two. I couldn’t believe how genuinely kind and loving they both were to complete strangers who were giving them a million different directions at once and amongst the chaos they were able to soak in every moment with each other. They are the kind of people when you meet for the first time you feel like you have known her for a lifetime and not to mention their love is incredibly raw whether it is off or on camera. So when I decided at the last minute I wanted to get together a quick stylized shoot while I was there in February I immediately contacted Brinde. Even before deciding to do this session I told myself two years ago after shooting the last stylized shoot with them that someday I would get these two in front of my camera again. So when Brinde contacted me back and said they would do the shoot I then began looking for other vendors available to work with me for the shoot. A piece of me however kept wanting to bring a part of home with me for the shoot so I reached out to my favorite Bridal shop here in Fort Wayne, One Fine Day. Gosh I love not only this bridal shop but every girl who works there! After exchanging a few messages and visiting the shop a few times we decided on the dress I was going to take with me for the shoot. The team at One Fine Day are incredible and if you happen to be looking for a wedding dress there is no doubt in my mind that this is the perfect place for you to go. I myself am not a Bride but the girls put in so much time and effort to make sure we found the perfect dress for this shoot, even after changing my mind a million times (lol). Once the dress was found I then reached out to several florist in the Scottsdale area. I knew I had wanted to keep this shoot simple since it was more of a last minute shoot but having a gorgeous bouquet was something that was incredibly important to me. Dana who owns The Floral Theory, a local florist out of Mesa, contacted me back and was so excited to work with me for the shoot. She was incredible in every way and made sure that the bouquet was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. To all my brides, I can’t emphasis enough how important it is to have an amazing florist! Flowers are SO SO SO important for giving your wedding an elegant and timeliness look. Not only do I use them during your portraits but they are used through out the whole day as well and as a photographer who finds the little details are so important flowers are what put the topping on the cake. So if I had any advice for you it would be to invest in your florist and your flowers! So excited to do more stylized shoots in the near future but until then I hope you all enjoy the hard work all of these amazing vendors put into this shoot. Thank you so much to everyone involved! <3
I also wanted to give a huge shoutout to my amazing husband at Unscripted Visuals who shot video for the shoot! Be on the lookout on his Facebook page for the final product!
